According to the Government's Priority Action Plan for 2020, submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on  September 9, 2020 the Concept of the new Program for 2021-2025 should be adopted by the Government in October this year, while the Program itself should be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for approval in December (paragraphs 142, 143) (http://materialy.kmu.gov.ua/6e248d68/docs/3a5170d0/Dodatok_3.pdf). Currently, the draft Concept of  National Target Scientific and Technical Space Program of Ukraine has been developed in the SSA of Ukraine and forwarded to the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine. The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, as well as 3 Ministers did not approve the draft Concept.

During 2020-2021, master's degree training within the framework of the Master's program Data Science at the Institute of Mathematics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine will take place. On September 9 this year, the first meeting of the Department of Mathematics of Kyiv Academic University with new master's students took place.

За рішенням конкурсної комісії Інституту космічних досліджень НАН України та ДКА України (від 20.07.2020р.) переможцями конкурсу на заміщення посади:

• головного наукового  співробітника за спеціальністю 122 – комп’ютерні науки та інформаційні технології у відділі № 23 «Космічних інформаційних систем та технологій» визнано д.т.н., проф. Шелестова А.Ю.;        -
• молодшого наукового  співробітника за спеціальністю 113 – прикладна математика у відділі № 23 «Космічних інформаційних систем та технологій» визнано Шумила Л.Л.

The book "How the Universe Works: Introduction to Modern Cosmology" by Serge Parnovsky and Aleksei Parnowski (2018) was named an Outstanding Academic Title of 2019 by CHOICE — a publishing unit of U.S.Association of College and Research Libraries.
