The Institute operates postgraduate and doctoral studies in the areas of:

• 01.04.01 - physics of devices, components and systems;
• 01.04.08 - plasma physics;
• 01.05.04 - system analysis and theory of optimal solutions;
• 05.07.12 - remote aerospace research;
• 05.13.03 - control systems and processes;
• 05.13.06 - information technologies

The 20 dissertations have confirmed (5 doctoral and 15 Ph.D.) from year 2000 to the present.

The Institute cooperates with NTU "KPI", NAU and other universities of training and an organization of joint research.

The regular workshops for young scientists "Scientific Space Researchs", which involve young scientists and specialists from many cities in Ukraine and Russia, Belarussia and Vietnam have held since 2003.
