On November 10, 2021 the National Research Foundation of Ukraine (NRFU) organized the event "Scientific Super Nova 2" on the occasion of the World Science Day for Peace and Development. Among the speakers of which was the Deputy Director of the Space Research Institute, Head of the Department of Space Information Systems and Technologies, Professor Natalia Kussul. The Space Research Institute celebrates its 25th anniversary
The Scientific Council Meeting of the Institute was held on June 3, which included the official part (presentation of diplomas and thanks) and the discussion on the Institute history in last years and its perspectives. Some participants made not very serious Presentations on this issue.

Preparation of the draft Space Program for 2021-2025 is under way. SRI director O.Fedorov, the member of Working group on development of the Program, is expressed a position concerning the current condition of its preparation in the letter to chief officials. The Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine responded to the SRI letter.
